Listings within the Almanac
come in two forms, basic and premium;
A basic business listing
in the 2008/09 edition is currently $97 free.
A premium listing within
the 2008/09 edition is currently $197 $97.
Here's the difference.
Basic listings are strictly
limited to 300 character descriptions about your business (approx
one paragraph). This is where you describe your business and what it is
you do, so you will need to be very concise given this limitation. Basic
listings are also sorted alphabetically by business name within the
respective Country / State section. So you have no control over where
your listing appears - it may be buried at the bottom or in the middle.
Premium listings have the
following advantages;
-
600 character
descriptions about your business (double the size)
-
Premium listings are
not only listed alphabetically by business name within the
respective Country / State section, but they also appear at the TOP
of this section (essentially doubling the exposure). That means that
your listing will be one of the first any person looking at your
specific geographic location will see.
-
Premium listings are
also distinguished by a highlighted business name.
-
Premium listings also
make use of the quick reference guide, a graphical based legend for
users to quickly identify the products and services you provide.

difference between the two is illustrated below...
